Galerie BSL - Béatrice Saint-Laurent
Established in 2010 by Béatrice Saint-Laurent, Galerie BSL presents a bold, original vision of the contemporary object, characterized by uncompromising aesthetics, research on materials and exclusive productions.
The commissioned works, whether unique or very limited editions, hand crafted or born from technological innovation, are living testimonies of the current radical changes in contemporary creation. Each piece is marked by a constant dialogue between art, design, and architecture.
Galerie BSL represents established and emerging international artists/designers including: Djim Berger, Nacho Carbonell, Taher Chemirik, Studio Cogitech, Charlotte Cornaton, Carol Egan, Adrien De Melo, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, Charles Kalpakian, Ayala Serfaty, and Faye Toogood.
The gallery space located 23 rue Charlot in the Paris Marais art district, designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, features a vast, sinuous white Corian wave-like architectural structure surrounded by black walls and floors. This functional sculpture is also a gallery statement: it is the first object aimed to showcasing vanguard objects.
Galerie BSL participates in international art and design fairs and is a member of the CPGA – Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art.
