YMER&MALTA is a design studio where connoisseurs and lovers of fine design have the opportunity to discover exclusive collection of contemporary design furniture and objects.

Valérie Maltaverne and Remy Le Fur, two contemporary art specialists passionate about top quality design, and their partner Samuel Hadida, created YMER&MALTA in 2009. Their aim from the outset was to develop a kind of think-tank where they could establish a creative dialogue with designers and craftsmen to innovate, create and promote unique design pieces that reflect our time.

YMER&MALTA became unsurpassed authority and trendsetter in the contemporary design world. YMER&MALTA creates exceptional works, which are the fruit of its designers’ creative talents and the outstanding know-how of French long-established craftsmen. Today, numerous design pieces of YMER&MALTA are bought for well-known collections like the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, CNAP or Bernard Magrez Foundation.

Valérie Maltaverne is at YMER&MALTA’s epicenter. With her exceptional Parisian taste, her eye for perfection and her tireless energy to communicate and do, she draws out the very best from each designer and craftsman, often testing the limits of each’s creative and technical capabilities.

Under her keen eye and direction, YMER&MALTA invites designers to come up with startlingly new designs that placed after in the expert hands of artistcraftsmen whose time-honored skills and know-how often date back to 19th century and further.

With no limits imposed, materials such as marble, leather, solid woods and fibers are meticulously worked, sculpted and assembled to produce limited edition furniture pieces and objects of rare beauty and exceptional quality, that allows to inherit every design piece for future generations.
